Cotswold Steel appointed Promote Online in 2018 to drive new business through their website with paid search strategies. As providers of steelwork for both the domestic markets and national construction companies, they wanted to grow their customer base and generate further business within the South West. Their target audiences require anything from single steel beams through to full steel fabrication projects.

The Challenge

The first challenge was that the website did not contain enough content for the different products and services that they provide. Their USP of free delivery within 50-mile radius needed to be more prominent on the website along with more calls to action and methods of contacting them.
Paid search campaigns that had been run previously had always had a limited results due to insufficient landing pages and a lack of conversion tracking.

The Solution

We built out relevant pages on the website to showcase the many different steel components that they can design and supply. Once the landing pages were in place and tracking implemented, we built PPC campaigns optimised specifically for leads and enquiries to the business.
